Being a tourist in Naantali

So we took an another school-trip, and this time the destination was Naantali. It is a pretty little town very close to the city I live in.

This is the summer residence of the President of Finland. The parks around the manor, containing approximately a thousand square metres of greenhouse and a garden with 3,500 roses are open to the public.

I've been living next to Naantali all my life but never relly took time to get to know it. Was totally worth it!

Travelling in Finland

So, I figured as travelling inside Finland is still considered travelling and this is a travel-blog, I would post a few photos of our class-trip to Hanko, Mustio and Fiskars. All of these are situated in Southern Finland.

First things first

Hello there! My name is Iina, and I am a 21-year old girl from Finland. At the end of this month (May 2013) I am graduating as a travel agent from Turku Vocational Institute. In this blog I'm going to tell you about my travels, things I like, and life in general.

The main idea of this blog is to keep my friends and family informed on how I'm doing, but I am hoping to do quite a lot of travelling so this is going to be a bit of a travel-blog as well. So anyone who is interested in travelling or/and my life for some reason is very welcome to check this out!

So what's the plan?

So, the plan is to work and travel outside of Finland from now on. First destination is going to be Spain, where I am leaving to the 20th of June. After that, I will go where my feet take me. More about that later on.

I am currently in the middle of moving out of my apartment. At the moment it looks like this:

So as you see, a lot of cleaning up to do. My goal is to sell as much of my stuff as possible. My parents are nice enough to let me store some of my things at their attic, but I'm trying to get rid of most of the things you can see in the photos. Not an easy job that one!
