Spain adventure Part 4: Granada #2

Monday 6th of April

The next day we walked back over to Albayzín to see it in daylight. I have to say it is almost impossible not to lose your sense of direction in there! The little streets that create the most amazing maze! We walked over to a few viewpoints to get a nice view over the city and the famous Alhambra.

From Albayzín we walked over to the next district Sacromonte. This neighbourhood is famous for its Gypsy caves and Flamenco performances. In Sacromonte you can also stay over in caves if you're looking for a bit of an alternative style of accommodation. I thought it looked like the Flintstones village hah.

After all this walking we had a little rest at the hostel before heading out again. Once again, we had some great tapas for dinner. It really doesn't matter which restaurant you walk into in this country. The food is always amazing! I had read about this little bar in Granada called Bohemia Jazz Cafe and I really wanted to go and check it out. It was definitely the right decision. This is one of those hidden gems that you will just never find if you don't know where to look. We absolutely fell in love with this place. It has the most amazing atmosphere and it just looks absolutely gorgeous. Oh, and live music of course. We ended up going here the next evening as well.

Next up is the great Alhambra!
